Midal Cables accepts that safety is the result of all persons at work, led by the Chief Executive and all Managers, to positively identify accident causes and implement and maintain suitable preventive measures. With this belief, Midal had developed an Integrated Management System (IMS) to incorporate the organization’s occupational health & safety into its existing ISO 9001 (quality) and ISO 14001 (environmental) management systems.

In September 2005, Midal Cables has been awarded by the Bureau Veritas Quality International (BVQI) an international certification to OHSAS 18001 safety standard, making Midal as one of the pioneers in the Gulf to implement an integrated management systems for its quality, safety, health and environment (QSHE).  

The target of OHSAS 18001 management standard is to promote a proactive approach in health and safety by anticipating events and managing changes. Conclusively, Midal’s Top Management aims that all its employees return home safely to their families everyday, after producing quality products and services while at the same time preserving the earth’s pristine beauty.
